Nordic Game Sales is an annual report compiled by analyzing data provided by Gfk Entertainment. The analysis is carried out in cooperation with the Nordic trade associations in SWEDEN, NORWAY, FINLAND and DENMARK.

Last year, we gave you a glimpse into the market of digital sales, the Nordic countries being especially adaptive in a global comparison. As always, presenting reliable and market-wide estimates of digital sales is a challenge we share with most entertainment industries.
This report, in contrast, presents the numbers of physical sales traceable by local retailers. In 2014, the value of Nordic retail sales decreased by 18 percent. We are, however, constantly working on including reliable digital sales into our reports and periodic charts.
